The hotel has the best staff and the best beachfront. Just 1 step from the beach and all the staff really know how to serve the clients. I give the team 5 Stars. The food at the Kalak restaurant was great! For 1 week it was our Home!
Have stayed before at Ixchel, but never on the ground floor. This is a beautiful property, with big rooms and a full kitchen. Daily maid service, reserved chairs on the beach, and attentive front desk staff who recommended us a riviera maya snorkeling tour for my family. We rented 107 and 108 through VRBO, which meant we could walk out the patio door right to the pool and beach.
Tip – we had “Everything Isla” service stock our fridge with everyday food (like frozen waffles and coffee) – this place has a full kitchen, and we wanted the convenience. Also note that there was a beach party that went late on Saturday, and we were glad for our “white noise” noisemakers.
The condos are in a perfect location. Hidalgo within a 2-minute walk and is set on the most beautiful beach on the Island. We rented 401/402, and it was so spacious (1500) sq ft, and immaculately cleaned every day. The condo was well stocked with everything we needed. The staff is all so friendly and helpful.
This was our second time staying at Ixchel, and we were so happy to see the same staff members as our first stay. The beach attendants Chepo and Eloy are so warm and friendly, always there to make sure you have everything you need. We will continue to stay at Ixchel for any future visits. Also, check out Olivia’s and Dopi’s for fantastic food!!
I’m 23 & for 18 years we have been coming to Mexico. This place is unlike any other… comparable to Turks & Caicos. We walked the beaches and ixchel is by far the most beautiful beaches with the most friendly staff. Jorge, Joel, and addry are absolutely amazing and will help you with anything! Will definitely be back!
Giovani was our Amazing Bartender at Palapa’s on the beach(connected to the hotel). He remembered our names and the way we liked our drinks! Honestly, everything about this place was a perfect 10. We would stay here over and over again!
