My family and I stayed here for six (6) nights in Grace III. It is a three bedroom, two baths (all of the second floor). We had family staying at the two vacation homes next door, so we wanted to be close. I’m happy that we did. Everything was handled by Nadia, the hotel manager, and everything was excellent as she described.

Nadia arranged for our ground transportation with Five Stars (airport to ferry/round trip). That company deserves 5 Stars too (the driver was early, waiting, great commuter, new vehicle and we paid less then others in the family did). So back to Casa Ixchel.

When we arrived, we immediately had help with luggage, Nadia checked us in, and a kind gentleman showed us to our suite. It is a pure, airy, and spotless place.

We had excellent customer care from making calls for golf carts (again we paid way less then our family did), dinner suggestions to reservations. The hotel on site has a fantastic view, and the food is delicious. We ate there often. Got to meet Moe, he’s fantastic.

If you want a five-star hotel along with hundreds of other and pay big bucks daily, this is not your place. I would say this is a perfect boutique hotel with personalized service that won’t break the bank. Yes, we would stay there again! We also heard about some cozumel fly fishing trips we might take later. Thank you, Casa Ixchel staff for a fantastic stay!

The hotel rooms are comfortable, very clean, and a refreshing reprieve from the hot sun. But the best perk by far is the pool, with its views over the ocean and peaceful environment. Go explore the island in the morning/early afternoon, and come back to the lake around 4pm to catch a few rays and watch the sunset. It’s pure heaven.

The restaurant is quite delicious, and you can easily hop in a cart and head over to other great restaurants on both sides of the island hotel.
